training - swimming
The first question the La Loma staff will ask a visiting team before arriving is, “what are your ideal training times?” We do everything possible in order to accommodate the coach’s preferred training times. We also try to always provide a team with a maximum of 6 swimmers per lane long course and 3 swimmers per lane short course meters. Depending on the time of year, we can almost always accommodate our visiting teams with the training schedule they request. The weight room is available all day and the other workout rooms are available upon request.
Training times are available in blocks to ensure the maximum quality and consistency of your experience. Here are the 3 blocks available on a "first come, first serve" basis:
- Block 1: AM workout (long course meters): 5a-7a; PM workout (short course meters): 2p-4p
- Block 2: AM workout (long course meters): 7a-9a; PM workout (short course meters): 4p-6p
- Block 3: AM workout (long course meters): 9a-11a; PM workout (short course meters): 6p-8p
Please note, you may NOT pick and choose in between blocks for training times (ie 5a-7a then 4p-6p) due to our limited pool space. Due to the high number of inquiries we receive, our blocks are reserved on a "first-come, first-serve" basis and your preferred block can only be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
